On our final day, we went on a day cruise to visit three islands. The were beautiful despite the weather and we got to see a lot. Many of us passed the time with card games since we had been riding in a bus for most of the past week. It was a good end…

Day 11
This day we got to go up into more mountains covered in snow to see the famous monasteries. Sadly one was closed, but we still got to see one of them. The mountains were incredible and the history of the monastery was moving.
Day 10
We got to visit new and ancient Delphi along with the museum. There was so much history and a lot to see. It was amazing.
Day 9
We arrived at ancient Olympia, where we got to explore the town and visit the ancient site and see where they light the torch. We also went to the museum and got to see the relics discovered at the site.
Day 8
We left Gythio to go to the Diros Caves. It was an amazing little boat ride. We got to stop on many little beaches and towns on our way back to the hotel. A few of us went to explore the town and lighthouse.
Day 7
We started our day at the Palamidi Castle. I did not climb the 999 steps because I was sick and have bad knees but the view was still incredible. The ruins were also very beautiful. We then had a drive with amazing views to our next site, Mystras which had many different Monasteries and palaces….
