Today we began at the American College of Greece with a campus tour and a few lectures. The lectures covered the impact of the 2004 Olympic games, ancient medicinal practices, and philosophy. Afterwards, we headed to the Marathon Run Museum. We got to see and learn the history of the marathon and hold a torch from the 2004 games. We also then got to see the official starting point of the traditional marathon, run from Marathon to Athens. We then had free time in Athens to do more shopping and wondering with dinner at the hotel.
